I have been friends with Chris Mazzilli for over 40 years, sharing our love of cars since we were teenagers. When I decided the time was right to begin my search for a stock/original C-3, Chris was my first call. He quickly educated me on things to be aware of, and insisted I engage Dave Weber to inspect any car I was interested in purchasing. Both Chris and Dave took an active role in my search, identifying problems with a few of the cars by just looking at photographs, negotiating price etc… When we identified a few C-3’s that met the criteria I was looking for Dave & I took a road trip to inspect the cars. After the third car we looked at, we ended up driving home a mint 1980 L-82 Corvette Coupe with 35K original miles. The car only required minor mechanical maintenance, an incredible find which I drive whenever the sun is shining!

When I was pumping gas as a teen in the 1970s I owned a 1968 Camaro SS. But the car I dreamed of owning was a 1969 Z/28. In fact, we at the station all wanted one. A few years ago, I got the opportunity to work with Chris Mazzilli, whose knowledge of classic cars is incredibly broad and deep. Chris knows a lot about classic cars, and it’s crystallized in his ability to identify value across a very broad range of models and years. He knows what makes a car valuable, and what to pay for it. Chris found me a numbers-matching 1969 Z/28 in a rare color with a rare option package, a car that I love to drive and own, and that has gone up significantly in value from when I purchased it Chris negotiated a great price.
